The Uganda Land Alliance (ULA) is a consortium of more than 60 national and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and individuals to ensure the equitable distribution of land and the subsequent reduction of poverty in Uganda. ULA aims to promote people-centered land governance that recognizes and protects the rights of the poor and vulnerable through advocacy for fair land laws and policies. ULA seeks to empower rights holders for sustainable livelihoods.

Our work in development finance

ULA engages in both the struggle to realise security of tenure as a right and also lobby to strengthen institutional capacity of the state that guarantees these rights to protect, fulfill and enforce land rights through accountable governance and community action and organisation.
