Kapaeeng Foundation (KF)

Kapaeeng Foundation aims to promote and protect the human rights of indigenous peoples by conducting advocacy, lobby and campaign programs at local, national, regional and international level; establishing a strong network and partnership with national, regional and international organizations and individuals working on promotion and protection of human rights as well as indigenous peoples rights; and by raising the capacity of indigenous peoples in promoting and protecting human rights.

Kapaeeng monitors projects financed by development banks and documents violations to ensure that indigenous peoples’ rights are respected. The advocacy and campaign work are geared towards demanding transparency and accountability from government and development banks and engage independent safeguards mechanisms to protect indigenous peoples’ rights.
