The Center for Research and Advocacy, Manipur (CRAM) is a human rights-based indigenous people’s organization that promotes sustainable development and human rights of indigenous peoples of North East India, primarily in Manipur State. The center was established in 2004 to contribute to advancing the human rights of all indigenous peoples of Manipur through research and advocacy.

Our work in development finance

CRAM conducts documentation and research on key patterns of financing and impacts of international Financial Institutions in Manipur, primarily on indigenous communities, and the process of development and corporate accountability. It also supports communities affected by IFI financed projects in lobby and campaigns towards recognition of their rights.
