Ekta Parishad India (EPI) is a peoples’ movement for land rights with an active membership of 250,000 landless poor. It is regarded as one of India’s biggest people’s movements, with an iconic status globally. Since its inception (1989) as a Gandhian organization – Ekta Parishad has promoted nonviolence, dialogue, and constructive actions toward building a peaceful and just society.
