Crude Accountability was incorporated in March 2003 to protect the Caspian Sea’s natural environment and ensure that the environmental and human rights of communities impacted by natural resource development are respected. CA’s mission is to protect the environmental and human rights of people in the Caspian and Black Sea regions and in the areas of Eurasia that are impacted by oil and gas development.
