NRWP works to support women’s rights to access and control land, water and food, through:
- knowledge building: researching and documenting complainants and grievances of women on the issue of land, natural resources, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and other challenges they face that impends their use, control and management of resources they depend on for livelihood.
- capacity building: empowering women with the requred knowledge to protect, defend and claim deprived rights.
- movement building: strengthening existing structures of natural resource-dependent women in rural communities and aimed to decentralize across Liberia’s 15 counties.
- seed funding: providing seed capital, value addition to food production and sustainability measures for land ownership (use, manage and control).
- climate justice: empowering women/youth with knowledge, training on the climate crisis, impact on ecosystem and biodiversity, adaptation and mitigation measures through documentation of indigenous ecological knowledge to create models for climate solutions.
