Lumière Synergie pour le Développement (LSD) is a non-profit association created in 2008, and legally recognized as a non-governmental organization in Senegal. LSD researches development projects that undermine human rights and organizes capacity-building workshops for civil society organizations and communities affected by development projects in Africa on the transparency and accountability policies of International Financial Institutions and specifically on the African Development Bank (AfDB). LSD supports affected communities in filing complaints with the Independent Mechanisms of IFIs to obtain redress and conducts advocacy/lobbying to influence development.

Our work in development finance
