Community Empowerment and Social Justice Network (CEMSOJ) is an apolitical, informal, and not-for-profit collective of human rights and grassroots development activists founded in 2015 and based in Lalitpur, Nepal. It works mainly for social-economic empowerment and promotion of social justice and human rights of marginalized groups of Nepal, including indigenous peoples and minorities, rural communities, and urban poor – with a particular focus on women, youth and persons with disabilities, and children of those groups, towards a just and peaceful society.
Mission
To increase social-economic empowerment and promotion of social justice and human rights of marginalized groups in Nepal, particularly indigenous peoples, minorities, rural people and urban poor. CEmSoJ focuses on women, children, youth and persons with disabilities in those groups, working towards a just and peaceful society.

CEmSoJ supports marginalized communities, particularly indigenous, minority and rural communities, affected by 'development' and business projects through capacity building, documentation and research and assists them in their advocacies at national and international levels.
