In this infographic – based on the experiences and input shared by dozens of civil society groups and defenders from Asia and the Caucasus – we summarize some key recommendations on how Independent Accountability Mechanisms (IAMs) can better address the issue of threats and attacks against communities, who often face reprisals when raising complaints about the harmful impacts of development projects.
