Society for Democratic Initiatives (SDI), Sierra Leone, was set up in 2003. SDI is part of a global campaign for the African Freedom of Information Network (FONINET) and the International Media Lawyers Association. SDI exists to enhance, strengthen and deepen democratic culture; and to ensure that human rights are promoted and protected in Sierra Leone.
