Unpaid remote internship
At the Coalition we accept applications for unpaid, remote internships on a rolling basis, to support our work. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds. We are seeking in particular the following profiles:
- For our financial research internship programme, we particularly welcome students enrolled in investigative journalism programs/courses or recent graduates interested in learning more about financial research and how to uncover the links between projects funded by development banks and human rights violations connected to these projects. If you would be interested in financial research, please note that the next openings will be in late May 2026.
- For our Latin America internship, we are seeking students or recent graduates with experience in research and data analysis, fluent in Spanish and English, and interested in learning more about the environmental and social impacts of harmful development projects and in supporting environmental and land defenders in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- For our research internship on community-led struggles in the context of energy and mining projects, we are particularly seeking students or recent graduates fluent in English and French, and interested in learning more about the environmental and social impacts of harmful development projects particularly in the Africa region.
