Care for Environment

The environmental organization Care for Environment (CFE) is advocating for the protection of local lands and people against the harmful effects of a Chinese funded gold mining project. With the support of CRE and the Defenders in Development Campaign, CFE has connected with organizations fighting similar battles, conducted research on companies and financiers responsible, and drafted a letter on the issue to the African Commission on Peoples and Human Rights.
