The Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) is a non-government organization whose goal is to amplify the voice of the less privileged and the groups living in marginalized situations, including women, youths, and people living with disabilities, to increase their participation in the democratic decision-making processes. ANEEJ focuses, in particular, on environmental and economic justice.

To contribute to the emergence of a just and equitable African society through socio-economic and environmental rights protection, institutional strengthening and people’s empowerment.

Our work in development finance

ANEEJ Has carried out extensive work on human rights issues, by playing a key role on cases of human rights abuses, unlawful detention and killing of targeted leaders and indigenous in communities. ANEEJ has been engaging with policy makers on favorable policies for citizens, advocating for justice in communities been exploited and polluted.
