BIRUDO

Buliisa Initiative for Rural Development Organization (BIRUDO) NGO was founded in 2006 by a group of Ugandan youths after realizing there was a capacity-building gap to fight poverty among the local rural and urban communities. It seeks to improve the quality of life of the local communities through information sharing, sensitization, advocacy, and networking for sustainable development.

Our work in development finance

BIRUDO supports local communities and civil societies in Albertine region in Uganda to advocate and defend their rights in development projects in extractive industries therefore oil and gas and natural resource governance.
