FUNDACIÓN CAUCE: CULTURA AMBIENTAL, CAUSA ECOLOGISTA was created in 2018. It works on the key pillars of “environmental democracy” (access to public information, citizen participation and access to justice) to protect the biological, cultural and historical diversity of local ecosystems.
Collaborating with their local and internationa allies, CAUCE works to
- promote the care and monitoring of local water and wetland systems
- monitor infrastructure projects (e.g.: dams, bridges, etc)
- promote agroecology
- advance environmental democracy
- develop analyses and research
- engage with communities, the State and other actors
- raise awareness through cultural and artistic activities.
