Equitable Cambodia (EC)

EC

Equitable Cambodia (EC) is a national leader in advocating for the protection and defense of Cambodia’s housing, land, and natural resource rights. It was established in 2012 to enhance and safeguard the rights of all Cambodians from a protracted land-grabbing crisis that has seen nearly 14 percent of the country’s land transferred from small-scale food producers and indigenous peoples into the hands of agro-industrial firms. Through policy research, advocacy at the national and international level, coalition-building, and community organizing, EC endeavors to transform the country’s land and economic development practices into a model that respects, protects, and fulfills the human rights of the Cambodian people.
