To promote people-centered land governance that recognizes and protects the rights of the poor and vulnerable through advocacy for fair land laws, policies and empowering rights holders for sustainable livelihoods.

Our work in development finance:

ULA engages in both the struggle to realise security of tenure as a right and also lobby to strengthen institutional capacity of the state that guarantees these rights to protect, fulfill and enforce land rights through accountable governance and community action and organisation.
