Regional work

Our Regional Coordinators in Africa, Asia, and Latin America – in coordination with the Community Resource Exchange Facilitators – build power at the regional level with local, national and regional groups by strengthening capacities and coordinating advocacy around development finance and human rights.

Examples of activities include:

  • capacity exchanges for grassroots organizations and allies to hold development financiers accountable;
  • gatherings to strategize, mobilize and organize campaigns on regional development banks like the African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, and InterAmerican Development Bank;
  • outreach to potential partners and recruiting them into our mission;
  • cross-regional research and advocacy on global issues such as the Just Energy Transition.
